Eagleby Doctors is a mixed billing practice. These fees help you plan your appointment. Please ask reception if you are unsure what will apply.
Consultations
Standard and long appointments
Private consultation fees are payable at the time of your appointment. Where eligible, we can usually submit your Medicare claim electronically after payment.

*Rebates depend on Medicare eligibility and the service and item number actually billed. Appointment length and clinical circumstances can change the fee. These are in-person consultation examples; please check telehealth fees and eligibility with reception.
Bulk billing & concessions
Patients under 16, Pensioner Concession Card holders, Health Care Card holders and DVA Gold Card holders are usually bulk billed for eligible consultations. Bulk billing is subject to the treating doctor, consultation type and clinical circumstances. Private fees may apply to some appointments, procedures and other services.

Procedures, medicines and other costs
Ask for a fee estimate before arranging a procedure. Depending on the service, a preliminary consultation, medicine, dressing or other consumables, investigations and follow-up may involve separate costs. Reception can explain what is included and what needs to be confirmed with the doctor.
Many employment, insurance, commercial and other third-party forms are not covered by Medicare. Bring the requirements to reception so availability and charges can be checked.
Cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Appointments cancelled with less notice may incur a fee of $50.00 for a standard appointment or $100.00 for a long appointment.
Fees may be waived in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the practice. Please contact reception if you have been unable to attend.

- Bring your Medicare and any concession or DVA card.
